The Hills of Headwaters Quarterly Tourism Summit - March 5th, 2012
The Hills of Headwaters Tourism Association is hosting a series of quarterly Tourism Summits to discuss opportunities for tourism operators to grow and enhance their businesses.
The first of these summits will take place from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. on March 5, 2012 at the Caledon Community Complex, 6215 Old Church Road, Caledon East and will focus on opportunities for regional festivals and events.
This session will include representatives from the provincial Regional Tourism Organization (RTO) #6 - Central Counties, as well as partner organizations & municipalities. It will also highlight the regional tourism strategies for the Hills of Headwaters in 2012 and present opportunities on how these strategies will help local tourism operators.
This summit will also feature representatives from Ontario Tourism who will discuss the economic impact of festivals and events in Ontario, along with how the Hills of Headwaters region can take advantage of these opportunities to grow our own regional events.
