Sunnen Honing Systems used by championship race teams demonstrated at PRI 2014.

PRI 2014 -- the largest gathering of motorsports professionals in the world -- is set for December 11-13 in Indianapolis. Sunnen's Automotive Team will be on hand at booth #5101 to demonstrate performance-enhancing honing systems used by racing champions throughout the world.

In fact, the race teams of Kevin Harvick, the 2014 NASCAR Sprint Cup Champion, Chase Elliott, the 2014 NASCAR Nationwide Series Champion, and 2014 NHRA Pro Stock World Champion Erica Enders-Stevens (the first female Pro Stock Champion), all use Sunnen cylinder hones in their garages. Sunnen truly is "the hone of champions."

Sunnen SV-20 Honing System

Sunnen's two most popular honing systems for engine builders, the SV-20 and SV-10, will be demonstrated at PRI 2014.

 

The SV-20 honing system, developed specifically for race shops, production rebuilders and fleet maintenance facilities, combines Sunnen's linear servo-stroking technology with the power and capacity to drive multi-stone diamond tools for OEM-quality bore geometry on automotive blocks and cylinder liners. Click here for a video preview of the SV-20.

Honing System

Sunnen's SV-10 Automatic Cylinder Hone combines the latest technology with the consistency and dependability of the legendary CV-616.

With two motors, one for the spindle and one for the stroker, the SV-10 runs standard Sunnen tools as well as Sunnen's DH-series diamond hone head.

Sunnen and Reher-Morrison Racing Engines will present the Sunnen Engine Charity Sweepstakes at PRI 2014. 

The prize is a Reher-Morrison 1200-HP, 583ci big-block Chevrolet racing engine valued at $25,000.  
 

Tickets can be purchased online

through Friday, December 5. After that, tickets will only be available at the Sunnen Engine Charity Sweepstakes booth at the show. 

 

The drawing will be held at PRI on Saturday, December 13.

 

NOTE: Winning ticket holder does not need to be present to win. The winner will incur all costs of transporting the engine from the Indiana Convention Center.
