MINISTRY REPORTS FOR JULY:
We're very excited to report that HSRM & American Baptist International Ministries are developing an exciting and growing partnership for the Kingdom, and to the glory of God! We/HSRM were invited to provide very significant roles in three historic events which have launched International Ministries boldly into its third century of mission: The All-Staff Gathering (July 12-18), the Call (July 19-21, and The World Missions Conference (July 19-25). These events, held at Green Lake Conference Center one month after our Holy Spirit conference, brought together ALL the ABC missionaries from around the world in celebration of the first 200 years of Baptist mission from the USA.
July 12-18: Clayton and Cheri Ford were invited to be the Prayer Team for the All-Staff Gathering. Pictured is Clayton sharing with our mission- aries and staff. HSRM gave a gift-packet to every missionary family and most the IM staff; each packet contained a copy of Clayton's book (Called to High Adventure: A Fresh Look at the Holy Spirit and the Spirit-Filled Life click), a companion volume Study Guide, and a Flash-drive with every keynote message and workshop - 42 messages in all - from our recent off-the-charts great Holy Spirit Conference. July 21-26:
What an INCREDIBLE World Missions Conference!!! We had eight HSRM team members (Norelle Lutke, Eugene and Joy Purdy, Hannah Ford D'Alessandro, Pamela Davies, Sue Fitzgerald, and Clay and Cheri Ford) who provided Prayer Ministry and staffed the Conference Prayer Room. An estimated 1,200 people attended the main sessions in an enormous "tent" erected for this special 200th Anniversary occasion. Clay also led two workshops during the week, entitled "The Holy Spirit & Our Mission Mandate". We made tons of wonderful new friendships, networking with people, including over 100 international mission partners, from around the world.

Clayton & Cheri Ford, accompanied by Gino and Hannah Ford D'Alessandro, are flying to Florianopolis, Brazil where they will minister to many hundreds of Brazilian Christian leaders at the annual Pastors' Conference of Brazil's National Baptist Convention (Conven��o Batista Nacional), Aug 20-22, and also in area churches, Aug 23-24. Clay will speak to the pastors, Cheri to the pastor's wives, and Hannah will sing and help with worship, while Gino assists in many ways.

Please pray for the Spirit of God to move powerfully as our team ministers to these great Brazilian Christian leaders. We want to thank the CBN national leaders Esdras Dias, General Secretary, Edmilson Vila Nova, CBN President, as well our ABC missionaries Bruce and Ann Borquist, for opening the doors and inviting us to come.
