Celebrate West Park at the Hooley on Kamm's Corners™ Tomorrow, May 14!

Grab your friends and family for a fun day tomorrow, May 14. It's West Park's Homecoming Celebration, The Hooley on Kamms Corners™, from noon until 8 p.m. Lorain Avenue will be closed to traffic from Rocky River Drive to West 165th Street, starting at 5 a.m. for event set up. Great food, live music, children's shows & activities, Irish dancers, pipes & drums, and more will fill the street for this, the seventh annual spring event.

There is no charge to enter the area of The Hooley
™, thanks to our generous sponsors, including residents of Cuyahoga County through a public grant from Cuyahoga Arts & Culture. Special thanks to the City of Cleveland, Councilman Marty Keane, and Fairview Hospital for their support.

Bring a Tote Bag for Cool Giveaways and Goodies

Visit Artist Alley

Once again, Cleveland Bazaar is hosting a juried handmade arts and crafts show on West 168th Street, sponsored by AT&T.

Enjoy Live Performances on Two Stages

The main stage at Rocky River Drive faces east, featuring a mix of Irish music, including pipes and drums, ballads, laments, reels, and an infusion of bluegrass and rock music. The opening ceremony begins at noon as U.S. Representative  Marcy Kaptur makes the opening comments. Here's the entertainment in order of appearance: The Pipes and Drums of the Cleveland Police; JP & the Chatfield Boys, The Whiskey Island Ramblers, Cleveland Firefighters Memorial Pipes and Drums, Mary's Lane, and The Sunrise Jones close out the evening.

The Family Stage at West 165th Street, sponsored by Dollar Bank, provides entertainment for the younger crowd. Irish dancers from four dance schools will perform, each showcasing its own distinctive style, with some wearing colorful costumes and ringlet wigs. The schools in order of appearance are: Burke School of Irish Dance at noon. Then, at 3:30 Brady Campbell Irish Dance School takes the stage. At 4:30, Leneghan Academy of Irish Dance shows their steps. And, Cannon Irish Dance performs at 5:30.

In between all the Irish dancing will be Our Lady of Angels Fine Arts Council Student Performance, Newton D. Baker School of the Arts, Saint Joseph Academy's Choral, Taylor's Troupe from Gunning Park Recreation Center, Tower City Chorus, the Cretan Dancers of Cleveland, and the All American Karate Studio. Enjoy The West Side Irish American Club Pipe Band on the ground in front of the stage at 5:15 p.m. Then, at 6 p.m. RW Magic performs amazing tricks followed by DJ Lo-Key spinning tunes and hosting interactive audience fun and games until 8 p.m.
