The Hootenanny is just one week away and we are busy with the Savour Stratford Culinary Festival this weekend. We wanted to send a reminder of details for Sunday afternoon and a link to a map to the Dairy.
This Pot-Luck is a chance for us to roast another pig, share some cheese and taste some of the dishes made to share by our friends and neighbours.
Please feel free to contribute what you can for the day and remember to bring a sign and serving spoon for your dish so that those with food allergies can navigate the buffet with ease. Think of this as a classic church pot-luck with a dose of hedonism.
We're planning to kick off the festivities with live music and lots of games around 2.30pm. Remember to bring your own plate, cutlery and a glass (we won't have anything for you to eat off!) If you think you'll need a place to sit bring a chair for the afternoon. We'll be wrapping up the festivities around 7pm. Many hands make light work and any help to tidy up afterward will be much appreciated.
This is a free event! We want to see everyone on our Dairy property at 49 Griffith Road in Stratford. Click the link to find a Google Map of our address. If you are a resident of Toronto our friends at Creme Fraiche Market Cafe have organized a bus to the Hootenanny. The cost is $30/person round trip. There will be some adult beverages available so please remember to bring a Designated Driver or get on the Creme Fraiche Bus.
See You Next Weekend!
