Good evening:
I hope all is good with your families this week. Last Wednesday Mary and I celebrated our 43rd wedding anniversary. We Visited Lanesboro Minnesota, our
highlight being the Amish tour. Our tour guide had three hours of information about being Amish while we made six stops. I know I would not be a very good Amish person, it just would not be right for me. Our tour guide really did a wonderful job of explaining many many parts of their lives and their culture.
Of course we also did visit four wineries on our way home. Just like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz, there is no place like home.
I have another update on our harvest. Due to the rain weather we now have a harvest on

Our Music Season
Saturdays and Sundays.
One thing we have changed this year is that the performances are now normally 1 to 4 PM, but of course you can stay all the way to closing time.
Our music this Sunday
1 to 4 pm is
"The Derelict Trio!"
The Derelict Trio includes Mark Downing (guitar, harmonica, vocals), Steve Hornstein (guitar, bass, vocals), and Danielle "Dirty D" Olson (horns and vocals). The music they play flows from the intersection of blues, jazz and folk music. Their music comes from varied sources like Bessie Smith, Cab Calloway, Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters, the Allman Brothers, Eric Clapton and Bonnie Raitt. With a sound punctuated by Mark's harp and Dirty D's horns the Derelict Trio promises to always make "do the hip shake baby!"
