Revival with Chad Seabright

Sunday, October 29
10:30 a.m. & 6:00 p.m.

Monday & Tuesday, October 30-31
7:00 pm

Chad Seabright is a lover of Jesus Christ and a seasoned revivalist whose heart is to awaken the Church of America.
Chad enjoys a loving relationship with his parents, church and his beautiful wife- Brooke. They have a beautiful daughter-Allyson.
Chad grew up in the Nazarene church in Lambertville, Michigan.  He now lives in Aiken, South Carolina with his wife and daughter.
God has been revealing to Chad who he is and he feels God is calling him to preach to His church at large. Whenever Chad, his wife and daughter - Allyson are not on the road, they spend their Sundays at Midland Valley Church of the Nazarene in South Carolina. Chad in his free time enjoys playing softball, fishing, watching college football, and catching up on his favorite TV series with his wife.

Adopt-A-Light Program
FCN is in dire need of replacing our stage and sanctuary lighting.  The fixtures are obsolete and cannot be repaired.  We need your help!  In order to not incur debt, the Church Board is introducing the "Adopt-A-Light" program.  The cost to replace all stage and sanctuary lighting is $21,130.15...this includes labor costs.  This factors out to be approximately $275 per light.  If 76 people adopt a light, we would have most of the needed funds for this project.  Consider giving in memory of a loved one.  You can also give in increments if $275 is too much to give at one time.  Please seek the Lord as to what He would have you give.  Please mark your contribution as "Lighting" or "Adopt-A-Light".  For more information, please contact Robert Hehn.

You will have another opportunity to give in the Alabaster offering this Sunday, October 1. Bring your loose change, filled Alabaster boxes, paper money or checks on Sunday. All of the funds go directly to the mission fields around the world to build hospitals, churches, schools and other buildings needed to assist our missionaries in fulfilling the call to reach the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
We will resume our Sunday Night Mission Fellowship on Sunday, October 8. We will find out current mission prayer needs, information about people being won to Christ, and fellowship together.  We will meet in the FCN Dining Room at 6:00 p.m. Please bring finger foods to share during our fellowship.
Thank you for your support for Missions!

Band of Brothers Men's Group

The Band of Brothers Men's Group meets on Sunday, at 4:00 p.m. in the Conference Room.  Our study is Cold-Case Christianity.  Written by an L. A. County homicide detective and former atheist, Cold-Case Christianity examines the claims of the New Testament using the skills and strategies of a hard-to-convince criminal investigator.
Christianity could be defined as a "cold case": it makes a claim about an event from the distant past for which there is little forensic evidence. In Cold-Case Christianity, J. Warner Wallace uses his nationally recognized skills as a homicide detective to look at the evidence and eyewitnesses behind Christian beliefs. Including gripping stories from his career and the visual techniques he developed in the courtroom, Wallace uses illustration to examine the powerful evidence that validates the claims of Christianity.
A unique apologetic that speaks to readers' intense interest in detective stories, Cold-Case Christianity inspires readers to have confidence in Christ as it prepares them to articulate the case for Christianity.

WYBT Youth

October is already here and soon we will be stressed for the holidays. The youth are getting things together for our fundraiser.  We will be having our concession stand on Saturday, October 28, at the Women's Ministries Craft Fair. We will have breakfast and lunch available.  We have learned if it isn't broke don't fix it, so we are bringing back the pulled pork.  Everybody come and get some!
I know this will be out before we have actually completed the first time of delivering the box meals, so pray that they went well and we will be getting around to do them again the end of October.  Matthew 25 tells us that we are to take care of the "least of these". My prayer that the youth will see and learn the importance of being a missional church.
I  would also like you to keep Trey Burke in your prayers as he will be working with the youth on Sunday evenings.
One last thing...pray about Fields of Faith. This is sponsored by FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes). It will be Wednesday night, October 11. We have a time of praise and worship and teens from this area sharing their testimony.
Your Sister in Christ,
