KidsBridge 2015 Recap
KidsBridge 2015 was a great success! All graduates of the program are now better prepared for school - but the program faced funding danger before it could even start.
More than 200 guests turned out on May 19 to help us honor and celebrate three outstanding volunteers and one bright, young scholar who represented the year's successes.
Kate Cresci joined Inspiring Minds last month as the Youth Program Coordinator.  She comes to the organization with a BA in Secondary Education and experience in Audio Visual Technology . Kate completed student teaching in Warwick and Coventry and wanted to make a difference in student learning in a non-tradition teaching environment. Her goals are to immerse students in learning through exciting experiments and hands-on activities while building a legacy of excitement and fun.
Blythe Raucci was honored as our 2014-2015 Outstanding College Volunteer. Click the button to read more about how volunteering has made a difference to her!

Starling Garcia received our 2014-2015 Bright Young Mind Award. Read about the success he found with our tutors.

IM'S Happy Surprise

David Duke Jr., a Junior at Classical High School, had a great experience learning about robotics in our Tech Center last year - so were naturally pleased and excited when we received an email from his father, David Duke, R&D Simulia, Simulation, who had recommended Inspiring Minds to receive a charitable contribution from his company! After applying, we were rewarded soon after with a $2,000 grant! Many thanks to David and his son for thinking of us for this happy surprise.
