A MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Dear Parents,

In the coming weeks, you will be getting several bits of information necessary for us to plan the 2016-17 school year.

On Monday, January 11, your student will bring home a letter from me and the B6T transportation form.  It is critical that these forms are returned by January 15.

At the end of January, you will receive a letter outlining the tuition policies for the 2016-17 school year. You will be required to sign a tuition contract and submit a $300 registration fee in order for your student to be rostered into courses for the next school year.  This registration fee is due on February 19.

During the first week of February, you will be receiving an email that will outline course selection.  We are going completely digital with this process.  I will be explaining it to the students prior to your receiving the email, and the necessary documents will also be posted on Edline at the end of January.

I ask for your attention in the coming weeks as information comes home regarding planning for next year.  I will also send you home periodic reminders.

Sincerely,
Heather Crisci

Student Attendance & Semester Exams: All students are expected to attend their scheduled semester exams on January 19, 20, and 21.  If a student is absent on an exam day, the parent must call school and a doctor's note is needed to verify the absence.  Students will not be permitted to make-up exams without a doctor's note.  Bus transportation will be provided on January 19, 20, and 21.  Exam make-up day is Friday, January 22; bus transportation will not be provided on January 22.

Students who do not have a first session exam, may find their own transportation to school and come in for their second session exam.  Students who are not scheduled for a second session exam may arrange transportation to leave school early.  Students who do not have transportation to come in late or leave early must report to the dining hall during their non-scheduled exam session.

Student Safety at Dismissal Time: To ensure the safety of students at dismissal time all parents are reminded that students must be picked up at the rear of the building.  Parking or driving out of the school entrance lane is dangerous and can result in an accident.  Thank you in advance for not parking in or driving out the entrance lane at dismissal time.

Canada Trip Meeting: Please mark your calendars now .... Tuesday, January 26.  There is a mandatory student and parent meeting at 7 pm in Room 109 for all students attending the 2016 Canada trip.
SUPPORT THE AD & PATRON DRIVE
With your support you can help our student performers and be part of an amazing tradition at Camden Catholic High School- the spring musical which started in 1922.  There are many aspects to putting together such a tremendous musical and the Ad and Patron book is  critical  to help fund costumes, staging, and technical pieces. The proceeds from this ad book help to keep this great tradition alive and thriving!

IMPORTANT REMINDER:
2016-17 FINANCIAL AID

Financial Aid applications are due by Jan. 15, 2016. Even if families received financial aid this year, you must re-apply every year. If you do not apply, you lose the opportunity to receive aid that you may have received this year.

If you would like to see if you are eligible for financial aid, please log onto FACTS and follow the instructions. All paperwork requested must be sent into FACTS for the application to be complete.

We try to help as many families as possible with financial aid. The average amount awarded is between $750-$1000. We do understand the sacrifices families make to receive a Camden Catholic education. After four years, you will be so proud of the outcome. Please remember to keep to this deadline.
