WINTER UNIFORM BEGINS NOVEMBER 3
FROM THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT

Dear Parents:
whipkey headshot

We have been busy preparing for this week's Open House on Thursday. Mrs. Walsh, Mr. Vallone, Mrs. Bieg,  and Mrs. Indelicato have been working on high school fairs, mailings, guest day arrangements, 8th grade visits as well as making sure the school shows a great face.

Our Green and White students have been spending much time in classes making sure our message to the prospective students is heartfelt. Our Open House presentations have been successful in the past with a 22% increase in freshmen enrollment this year.

We are very proud to share our wonderful community with new families. Please encourage your family and friends who are exploring high schools to come take a look at what we have to offer.

Because this is a night for prospective parents, we thank you in advance for dropping and picking up your children if they were asked to help with the presentation. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers that many new families feel the energy and spirit of the school and choose Camden Catholic High School for their children. All of your positive energy translates to these new families. As Catherine MacAuley once said, "We can never say, it is enough."

Peace and God bless,

Mary Whipkey
President
CYBER-SAFETY WORKSHOP:
ALL ARE INVITED

Dear Parents:

On November 11 at 7 p.m., I have invited a detective from the NJ State Police to present a parent workshop on cyber safety and cyber awareness.  Information presented will cover current trends in technology including apps, smart phone use, online activity, social media sites, and cyber-bullying.

This workshop is being planned in advance of an assembly for the students on November 14 on cyber safety.

This will be a beneficial program for parents.  You will walk away with a heightened awareness of the need to teach our children about how to protect themselves online.

I would like to have an attendance list in advance of the event.  If you would like to attend, please email me at heather.crisci@camdencatholic.org.

Sincerely,

Heather Crisci
Principal

Junior Parents:  Herff Jones will have a representative in the dining hall from 8:25 until 8:45 am on Thursday, November 6 for ring adjustments.  Students who have any problems with their class rings should see the representative at that time.
