School Wide Spelling Bee
The school wide spelling bee was an INTENSE affair! Our final five spellers were eighth graders Millie Jennings and Noah Goodman, seventh grader Alex Solari, and sixth graders Cory Amyot and Mary Klein.

The bee came down to a multi round final between Alex and Mary with Alex deemed the eventual winner.

Congratulations to ALL of our participants! Everyone is invited to cheer on Alex at the County Wide Spelling Bee at the Paramount Theater on February 8th.
The BSS Chapter of the National Junior Honor Society says a huge “THANK YOU!” to the BSS Community for your support of our Christmas Cheer service project. Thanks to your gifts and monetary donations we were able to check all the items off the wish lists for two families (9 children, 2 mothers and 1 grandmother).

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!
Kindness Elves spread lots of holiday cheer before Christmas break!
Meals on Wheels Place Mat Delivery
Our Kindergarten class colored and decorated place mats for inclusion with upcoming Meals on Wheels deliveries. Thank you Bella Arce and Levi Newberry for dropping the place mats to Meals on Wheels!
Christmas Fun in KIndergarten
Lots of fun in Kindergarten before the holidays! Thank you Mrs. Murray for sharing your time with grandson Joseph and friends. They all loved making the wooden Christmas trees.

Mrs. Gomez came by one morning and read The Polor Express. Believe!
Christmas Fun at BSS!
Over the holiday break, we will be having a few dates that we will be able to hold open gym for BSS JV & Varsity basketball players. These dates are completely optional. Coach Ingram, Coach Goodman, and myself will be running the sessions and all BSS JV & Varsity players are welcome to attend. Other coaches may be present for some of these sessions as well.

Please keep in mind that we can only be responsible for the students that are on the JV & Varsity teams and cannot watch any other children during these sessions. The dates and times are listed below. Thank you.
