International Day

Blessed Sacrament School celebrated its first ever International Day on Friday, May 4th. This special event allowed us to learn about and explore the extremely diverse cultures of the students of Blessed Sacrament. Each and every student of Blessed Sacrament was given the opportunity to show off his or her heritage. Students ranging from ages 3 to 14 shared with the members of our community words, phrases, and songs from their respective cultures. In addition, parents of students, as well as alumni, enlightened everyone with their talents and customs.

In this day and age, we are so blessed that we are able to hold such an event. Occasions like this are what makes our country great. The fact that we have the freedom to express and celebrate so many different heritages is truly one of the greatest blessings we have been given.

From the Principal's Desk
Dear BSS Community,

What a wonderful surprise to see all the wonderful messages of appreciation to the teachers/staff on the pathway, sidewalk and stairs of our school. In addition, the treats, flowers, notes and today’s lunch has been truly heartwarming. On behalf of all of us, thank you for a great teacher appreciation week!

We  LOVE  our teachers!

Throughout the week there will be so many opportunities for families and students to show the teachers and staff at BSS how much we  LOVE  them!

Each day there will be a new theme. Students are invited to bring in something fun for their teachers. These can be store bought or homemade items. We can’t wait to see what our creative students come up with for their teachers!! Please do not feel obligated to participate each day!

Schedule for the rest of the week:

THURSDAY- Love For Your Classroom
Teachers have created wish lists that will be sent to each class. We told them to send us their dream items and everyday necessities! Let's stock the classrooms to finish out the school year!
You can find the lists HERE (Wish Lists)

FRIDAY- Love From Your Kitchen
Bake your teacher your favorite sweet treat, send in a frozen casserole, provide them with your favorite kitchen utensil…you can have a lot of fun with this one!
