Parents in Partnership

Introducing the 2017-18 Parents in Partnership Program
The faculty, staff and administration at BSS are here to provide your child with a family atmosphere and best possible education, grounded in both BSS and Catholic traditions.  In this work, we are in partnership with you.

There are many ways you can volunteer your time and talents.  Some require a significant commitment of time, and others only a few hours each trimester.  We invite you to become an active participant in your child's school life.  Your involvement will not only enrich your child's experience at BSS, but also broaden your own horizons and create opportunities for you to meet and get to know other parents.

Your participation, and the participation of other parents like you is vital to BSS!  Thank you for taking an active role in your child's education!

BSS commits to treating each student and family member with courtesy and respect, providing a safe learning environment and open communication on a regular basis, responding in a timely manner to parents concerns, communicating and enforcing policies listed in the Student/Parent and Athletic Handbooks, fulfilling our mission to provide a Catholic education and operating the school in a fiscally responsible manner.

It is imperative for each family to support the school's Mission, treat faculty, staff, fellow parents and students with courtesy and respect, communicate openly about your child and/or school concerns with appropriate faculty and administration, read school communications and the website, attend town hall meetings, support the school with your time and talent according to your ability, and read and abide by the policies in the Student/Parent and Athletic Handbooks.

Volunteers Needed!
Parents and grandparents thank you to everyone who has completed the Parents in Partnership form.  Do not forget that this is a required form regardless of whether you choose to volunteer as we want all families to sign the partnership commitment.

There are several key volunteer roles yet to be filled.  Without committed volunteerchairs we will not be able to have the following fundraisers and special events.

Catholic Schools Week
Heritage Awareness Months

(we ask that each family review and consider a volunteer commitment)

(to be completed by EACH family and returned to the school office)
Classroom Connections
We look forward to sharing photos and news directly from our classrooms throughout the school year!
