BSS Gives Back-"Welcome to Your New Home" Shelter Bags
During BSS Gives Back week our sixth and seventh graders brought in helpful household items for "new home starter kits". Items like dish soap, hand soap, dish towels, toilet paper, disinfecting wipes, household cleaner, and trash bags were placed in Lowes Foods reusable grocery bags and delivered to the shelter at Allied Churches.

There are many families transitioning out of the shelter and into new homes which is a positive but many only have the clothes on their back when they leave. In addition to the household items, students includes prayers and positive notes for the families.

Thanks to the families that supported this project!

From the Principal's Desk
Dear BSS Community,

What a wild weather week! We went from below zero to nearly 60 degrees in less than two days. I hope we continue on this warming trend. Yesterday, I could hear the 2 nd grade singing their hearts out as they prepared for Friday’s Mass. They are so excited to have solos or duets during Mass. If you ever have the opportunity, please join us on a Friday morning to hear these young voices in action because music is the prayer that the heart sings. Thank you Mr. Lachance for working with our students.

From the Admissions & Advancement Office
Tuition Assistance is available to families who wish to provide a Blessed Sacrament School education to their children but are unable to afford the full cost of the education. All assistance is offered on the basis of demonstrated need, and all assistance recipients must complete a Grant & Aid Application through FACTS Management Services to be eligible for tuition assistance.

We strongly encourage Pre Kindergarten families to apply for the North Carolina Opportunity Scholarship in addition to their FACTS application.

The transition from Pre Kindergarten to Kindergarten is the one time an existing school family may apply and be considered for the North Carolina Opportunity Scholarship.

Blessed Sacrament Tuition Assistance Application open and accepting applications for new and returning students.

North Carolina Opportunity Scholarship Application opens by early February, 2018.

If you need help or have questions about Kindergarten enrollment or tuition assistance, please contact Tara Hackman, Admissions Director at 336.570.0019.
