THIS WEEKEND...

Friday, October 7 & Saturday October 8

Dear BSS Parents and Friends,
As many of you know, our school will be hosting the 2016 PECSAA Conference Volleyball Tournament this weekend over at Williams High School. Our kids and coaches are pumped and ready to bring home some hardware to put in our trophy case! Many of you have volunteered to participate in more ways than one, which we are extremely grateful. For anyone else that would like to contribute to the growth of our athletics program but is unable to sign up for a volunteer spot, we still can use your help!

We are looking for any culinary guru's to help whip up some tasty food and treats that we can sell  Friday evening and all day  Saturday. We are breaking these items down into three groups:
-Baked Goods
-Dinner Options
-Fast-Snacks
Some ideas could be anything that is crock-pot served, pre-made baked items, or ready to go meal wraps or walking tacos. Everything that we profit goes directly to our Athletics programs for years to come, so it is a huge benefit to all of our students. If you are interested in making a contribution, please email me at  [email protected] so I can get a list of what we will be able to offer and on what day.

We are so stoked to be the host this year and would love to blow these other schools out of the water with our Alamance County hospitality!

ALWAYS a great day to be a KNIGHT!!

The money collected from the raffle for the baskets and additional cash/check donations brought in a total of $810. The used ink cartridges that were donated will be recycled for additional funds that the Humane Society will be able to use to further their efforts in our county.

Thank you so much for your generosity!

Also, we would like to give a special "Thank you!" to Jackson Benes from Blessed Sacrament School for helping with chairs and handing out prayer cards at the event.

Accreditation Survey
Don't forget that beginning on Wednesday, October 12 - October 26, the parent survey portal link via the Knight Chronicle will be opened for your responses.  We need 20% of the school families to complete the survey. Thank you for your cooperation.

Addition of Monogram to Fleece Jacket
Many parents have asked about adding an embroidered monogram to their child's fleece jacket through a local vendor to assist with confusion when jackets are mixed up among students.   BSS has approved the following monogram styles to the fleece jacket in WHITE thread only.  The only approved position is the sleeve of the jacket at the wrist area.  Adding the monogram is not an option with Land's End but you may add the monogram locally.  Contact Mrs. Hackman for suggested vendors.

EXAMPLE MONOGRAM STYLES.  THREAD MUST BE WHITE!
