Eighth Grade Pay It Forward Project
Each year 8th Grade Students received $10 to use to design a "PAY IT FORWARD" project. Srikar Kavirayuni, Garrett Schmiederer and Christopher Cafasso teamed together to raise money to collect and distribute school supplies to the school kids who cannot afford it.

Initially, Srikar, Garrett and Christopher raised and collected some money in their neighborhoods for this project. In addition to that, the team members came up with idea of running a drink stand at Maker Faire held at Holy Hill Mall.  The idea worked out well and collectively, the team members have raised $165 dollars towards this project.   Now, they can donate this amount to kids who cannot afford school supplies.

AJTF Middle School Tennis Tournament
BSS was well represented at last weekend's Alamance Junior Tennis Foundation Middle School Tennis Tournament.   Srikar Kavirayuni, Andrew Brasington, Ella Kate Porfilio, and Joey Leupold competed in singles and Eleanor Arcaro- Burbridge & Sarah DeLario, and Haven Amick & Keira Dappen competed in the doubles bracket.  All of our players were competitive and we are proud to announce our tournament medalists, Srikar Kavirayuni and Andrew Brasington.
