It is always wonderful to hear the voices of young ones singing especially as they prepare for the Barnes and Noble performance scheduled for next Wednesday, November 15.  In addition, several of the 4th graders will be delighting us with their recorders. Blessed Sacrament School's Time for Twos program is designed as a gentle introduction to school. Our program encourages children to work in a group, explore new materials, and make age-appropriate development transitions.

Our Program Time for Twos meets on Wednesdays for two sessions, one in the Fall (September to December) and one Winter/Spring (January to March). The 45-minute meetings are led by Program Director, Jill Zang Glenn.

Each child must be accompanied by a parent, grandparent, or caregiver A typical meeting includes an art project, free play, story and music.

Time for Twos is still enrolling for the Fall 2017 session as well as the Winter 2018 session. If you are interested in enrolling your child please contact Tara Hackman at admissions@bssk nights.org or 336.570.0019.

Classroom Connections
Last week our first grade students walked to STEAM Junction in downtown Burlington for a hands on session led by owners Ben Harris and Danny Oakley.

Students learned all about the different parts of a robot! They saw a real robot that had been programmed for cutting and unleashed their creativity designing their own robot on paper. In addition, students explored STEAM Junction and learned about all this local Makerspace offers our community.

Thank you to the Monahan family for your support of the field trip to STEAM Junction and thank you Mr. Harris and Mr Oakley for hosting our students!
