A big shout out to the 2017 Parents in Partnership Oktoberfest Committee: Nellie Angyal, Michele Corradini, Melanie Gonzalez, Holly Groh, Beth Fitzgerald, Katie LaPlante, Karla Hernandez, and Kara Sheppard.

Thanks also to Margaret Cabell for offering face painting at the annual fund table and to Lisa Waldmann for building and painting our fabulous pie in the face board.  We will have that board for years to come!

We'd also like to extend appreciation to Shelly Pilversack for securing 12 of her Key Club members from Western Alamance High School.  The students were rock stars!

Our partners the Knights of Columbus also deserve kudos!  We appreciate their delicious beer, brats, and parking expertise!

A huge thank you to every parent and student that took time from the evening to volunteer!

Thank you to Mr. Eric Long and Delta Contracting for securing the lights and power for the event, Monahan Family and Cosmetic Dentistry for sponsoring Pelicans Sno Balls and the bounce houses from Space Walk Alamance, and Troutman Family Dentistry who is our 2017-2018 presenting sponsor for all BSS events!

Dear BSS Families,

Marcie was at one time our after school coordinator and David was a faculty member.  They have two children, Nora (2) and Archer (5 months).  Last Thursday, David passed away at the age of 27. Annual Fund Committee Thank You!
The Annual Fund Committee would like to thank EVERY family that contributed to our Annual Fund drive this past week.  We were able to collect $4,000 in donations leading up to Oktoberfest through our "Do Not Disturb" tactic, and reached all of our other familiesSaturday morning during our Call-A-Thon.  Those families made an additional $2,500 in donations to take our total to $6,500 in one week.

Thank you so much to all of our volunteers.  Katie LaPlante organized the drive, and had the support of Tim Beshel, Margaret Cabell, Michelle McEwan, Karla Hernandez, Tara Hackman, Tiffany Ehming, John Botzman, Lisa Waldmann, Aaron Rose, and Jamey Cabell.

Please continue to participate in our Annual Gift Campaign by filling out and returning your pledge card- many families said they intend to do so this week!   One time donations are also welcome and help us meet our overall goal. Thank you again for your support of the Fund for the Knights Your tax-free donations continue to keep our tuition costs low and allow BSS to make investments in our kids!

Time for Twos
Blessed Sacrament School's Time for Twos program is designed as a gentle introduction to school. Our program encourages children to work in a group, explore new materials, and make age-appropriate development transitions.

Our Program Time for Twos meets on Wednesdays for two sessions, one in the Fall (September to December) and one Winter/Spring (January to March). The 45-minute meetings are led by Program Director, Jill Zang Glenn.

Each child must be accompanied by a parent, grandparent, or caregiver A typical meeting includes an art project, free play, story and music.

Time for Twos is still enrolling for the Fall 2017 session as well as the Winter 2018 session. If you are interested in enrolling your child please contact Tara Hackman at admissions@bssk nights.org or 336.570.0019.
