10AM - 5PM

BSS looks forward to returning to the 2018 Burlington Maker Faire! Students in preschool through 8th grade are hard at work on classroom and group projects.

One of the things that always makes our school display stand out is the representation from our students on site to discuss their projects. We hope that students from each grade will attend this year and share the news about their STREAM process and final Maker Faire projects.

From the Principal's Desk
Dear BSS Community,

I hope to see you at our annual auction “A Night for the Knights” this Saturday, March 17 at the Ramada. This will be a great event to bring us all together for an evening of fellowship and fun. Let us make it a great evening for the Knights of BSS!

Mrs. Gomez

Don’t’ forget babysitting will be available for Saturday evening. 8 th grade students are willing to babysit on the night of the auction, March 17, from 5:00-11:00. For only $20.00 per child, your child will be entertained, given dinner (pizza and a drink) and watch a movie at school. The students willing to babysit are: Haven, Nathan, Keira, Mae, and Anna. The adults helping out are Mr. and Mrs. Glenn and Mr. and Mrs. Ramous. If you are interested, please call the office and reserve a spot for your child. It sounds like a great deal!

Twin Lakes Summer Program
Twin Lakes Community has a wonderful opportunity this summer for youths between the ages of 12 and 17 called YESS-Youth Engaged Serving Senior. This program will help youths learn more about older adults and gives them the opportunity to spend one or two days each week during the summer volunteering at Twin Lakes. This program will start on June 11th and conclude on August 17th. If your child is interested, please see Mrs. Gomez for an application. Applications are due by 4:30 on Wednesday, April 4 th at Twin Lakes.
