Cansculpt Alamance
We are excited to announce that Blessed Sacrament School will participate in Cansculpt Alamance under the direction of Art Teacher, Rebecca Wetter.

This week Mrs. Wetter is sharing information about the event with students.  During Catholic Schools Week each elementary and middle school class will have the opportunity to create a can sculpture in preparation of the event.  This activity is a brainstorming opportunity to narrow down our final submission to Cansculpt 2017.

Sculptures will be constructed February 11th at Holly Hill Mall and the public will vote February 12th-18th for the People's Choice Award.  The goal is for all teams to use 100,000 or more cans as all of the canned goods are for hungry children in Alamance County.

If your child is interested in joining the BSS Can Do Team please contact Mrs. Wetter at rwetter@bssknights.org.

From the Principal's Desk
Dear BSS Families,

It is that time of the year when we need your assistance. In the next few weeks there is a flurry of activities that requires volunteers. Everyone should have received an e-mail from Mrs. Hackman titled: Volunteer Opportunities at BSS Abound that explains the multiple volunteer positions needed in the next few weeks. I know we have busy schedules but we could not do it without you. If you have any time we would love your help. Thank you for all the support you give to BSS.

Mrs. Gomez
