MC to Hold School-Wide Commemoration in Memory of
Parkland Victims Next Wednesday
In the Fundamental Principles of the Xaverian Brothers, our founder, Theodore James Ryken, reminds us that  it is through us that God desires to manifest His love to the people of the world in these times. In this spirit of love , Malden Catholic will host a school-wide prayer service next Wednesday morning, March 14th, to commemorate those who lost their lives in the tragic shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida last month.

Members of the Student Council have been working with representatives from the Administration and Theology Department to create a prayerful expression of solidarity with all those school communities throughout our nation that are coming together next week to stand for the right of all children to learn and grow in safe school communities.
Senior Spotlight:  Francis Ronayne '18
Francis Ronayne (center) and senior classmates Navid Chowdhury and Patrick Brown
"It's difficult to put it into words," said  Emory University-bound senior Francis Ronayne when asked what the best thing about Malden Catholic is. "It's a small and unique community where everyone knows each other and cares about each other... it's like family and I'll miss it."

Francis, who graduates this year, sat down with us to reflect on his time at Malden Catholic, the memories he made, and what he will miss most about his MC family.

Help Us Be Courteous to Our School Neighbors
We have recently noticed vehicles parked (and double-parked) in front of driveways and in areas that make access to and from the businesses surrounding MC difficult. In the interests of improving the flow of traffic and being respectful of our neighbors, please be sure to avoid parking or stopping in front of the driveways of any businesses adjacent to Malden Catholic.  Thank you for your cooperation!
