Dear Visionary Leader,

Billion Soul Greetings!

Life has its seasons and organizations have their systems. In the learning system, we educate, graduate and celebrate!

In 1973, Dr. David Mohan cofounded New Life Assembly in Chennai (Madras), India. On several occasions we have brought the Billion Soul vision to this congregation of nearly 40,000 worshippers. Now, Pastor Mohan is constructing New Life Celebration Center, with a seating capacity of more than 56,000 people.

Dr. Mohan is constantly praying for a billion souls to be saved. He has nearly 1.2 billion people in his nation alone. In less than ten years, India will have the largest population in the world. Just last night, more than 100,000 babies were born in this nation.

To finish the Great Commission, the global Church will have to win more souls to Christ than are currently being born on a monthly basis! If not, we will continue to chase the world’s growth, and never catch up to finish this God-given task. From the beginning of forming the Billion Soul Network, Pastor Mohan has linked his heart, hands and harvest.

Last weekend, the global, missional paradigm shifted at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in South Hampton, Massachusetts. Dr. Walter Kaiser, the CoChair/Biblical Studies is President Emeritus of this world class college and seminary. Chadwick Mohan, the oldest son of Dr. Mohan, graduated with a Doctorate of Ministry. To complete his Masters of Divinity, he fulfilled doctoral requirements online and took class work at Gordon-Conwell two times per year for four years. Chadwick was able to obtain a doctorate 10,000 miles away via the Internet! Before our eyes, we are witnessing the move from the “West To The Rest” to the “Best In The World Going To Rest Of The World.” Our Lord is raising up a mighty army in India and Asia that will help fulfill the Great Commission worldwide.

This is the season to believe the Lord for great harvest, no matter where we may reside on this planet.

Small Congregation
DONATE NOW!
God give the increase!

The size of the congregation is not the measurement of success. As Christian leaders, success is defined as finding the will of God, following the will of God and finishing the will of God. Just because someone has a large church does not necessarily indicate success in the eyes of the Lord. There are large churches in the world who do not make a real difference in their culture. Regardless of the size of congregation, we should strive to see people come to Christ and the community to become Christ-like.

Scripture states that some plant and others water but it is God who gives the increase. Since church growth comes from the Lord, He is the only one who can receive the credit for it. Maybe you are planting and someone else will come and water or maybe you are watering after someone else has planted. Just maybe you are on the verge of witnessing a fresh growth bursting through the softened soil of your community. Regardless of where we are in this biblical system, when we are faithful to our role of planting and watering, God will bring growth to our respective ministries.

As we press forward, let’s move mountains when others choose to play with marbles. Let’s think bigger when others think smaller. Let’s build bridges when others build fences. Let’s walk in faith when others live in fear!

This is the greatest day of growth in the Kingdom of God. Blessings!
