'Bible Fellowship Groups'

Coming April 2

A new Bible Fellowship Group for young marrieds/singles (late 20s-to-early 40s) begin meeting April 2 in Fellowship Hall.  Pastor Michael Harsch heads a teaching team that includes Brent Carnathan, Kyle Knight and Marcel Simons.

A new Bible Fellowship Group for median adults (early 40s-to-mid-50s) will be meeting in one corner of the Worship Center. Pastor Jason Karr will lead a teaching team that includes Jeff Dillard, Brian Giaquinto, Pastor Scott Menez and David Sasser.

People currently enrolled in Pastor Michael's and Pastor Jason's groups are free to move to other groups.

--ALSO--

BFG Three existing adult Bible Fellowship Groups will continue to operate, but with a revised lineup of teachers. They will accent the mid-50s-&-up group:   Grace Abounding (led by Pastor Rick Cobb), Sovereign Grace (led by Pastor Jerry Schaeffer) and Sojourners (led by Pastor Alden Stephens).

Introducing a New Ministry: The King's Table

Riverbend has a new special needs children's ministry called The King's Table. Based on Luke 14:15-24 and 2 Samuel 9, its mission is to show families of children with special needs that we believe each child is created in the image of God, who has designed each with a unique purpose. This ministry  received a boost when Dorothy Lefford (right) of Easterseals came to the church to discuss how to help families of children with special needs. For more info about The King's Table, or to become a BUDDY to a child with special needs, contact leader Stacie Bagamery  (left) by clicking here .

An 'Incredible' Venture

Report from Riverbenders Adam (right) and Jamie Begin (left) after their recent mission trip to Haiti:

"The trip was incredible. I think we were able to see 400+ patients and accomplish many more things. We saw souls won for Christ in the midst of the most voodoo-influenced communities. We were blessed to be able to have even a small part in the work God is doing there!  Thank you, Riverbend, for your support!"
