Riverbend's World-wide Discipleship

Menez-Philippines
Riverbend Senior Pastor Scott Menez speaking to pastors and leaders in The Philippines

From Pastor Nilo Sanchez in The Philippines
Thank you, Riverbend, for the many blessings you have shared with us. The Lord used Pastor Scott mightily in preaching and teaching to more than 200 pastors and church leaders who attended our "Sovereignty of God" conference. An extra blessing was when he undertook to teach a women's group for two sessions. My wife rejoiced at what she learned from those two meetings with Pastor Scott.  Please accept our heartfelt thanks for sending him to minister to us in The Philippines, in spite of the perceived danger here. Please consider sending him back with Gina in the future to follow through what he started.

Dear Riverbend:
GraceLife will launch its second church plant on January 7, 2018. It will be in Ormond-by-the-Sea. We will partner with North Peninsula Baptist Church, which was a church plant of Riverbend (Oct. 6, 1963) that has seen its congregation dwindle in recent years.
Pastor Keith Harwood of North Peninsula contacted GraceLife and asked if we would partner with them to revive the church and provide some fresh vision. They desire to grow, reach outsiders and recommit themselves to fulfilling the Great Commission.
After multiple meetings, discussions and prayer, GraceLife Deltona has decided to send Jeff Eckert to lead this church. He will assume the lead pastor position of GraceLife Beachside (North Peninsula's new name) in January, leading them with a new vision and new values. Please be in prayer about this tremendous opportunity.
Also, thank you, Riverbend, for your continued prayers and financial support for GraceLife Deltona through our first three years of existence! You have helped us to reach many people with the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ.            --Pastor Tommy Clayton, GraceLife Deltona

Dear Riverbend:
The day has come; I am on my way to college (Liberty University in Virginia)!  My heart is so full when I consider the past 10 years in Florida. I think of Riverbend, my second home, the means by which God has saved and continues to sanctify me.
I think of Riverbend Academy and everything I have learned--not just for an education but for living for God and for others. I think of my family, my friends and all those who made a difference in my life. God used each and every one of you to mold my life in the most incredible and mysterious ways.  I love you all so much. Thanks so much for your prayers, hugs and encouragements!       --Sarah Matherly
