STEAM CARNIVAL BRINGS EDUCATION,

INNOVATION & FAMILY FUN!

Join us on Saturday, April 30 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. for the IPSF STEAM Carnival. This family-friendly event for all ages was designed to provide students with fun, hands-on activities in a carnival atmosphere, to spark their interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM).

Students will enjoy exploring a variety of STEAM activities including: discovering game mechanics with human foosball, virtual reality stations, tinkering with robots, art activities, an animal exhibit, live performances - and much more.

The carnival will be held in the Edwards Theater Courtyard at The Market Place in Irvine. Tickets are $4 online and $5 at the door. Children three years and under are free. The first 350 attendees will also receive a limited-edition tote bag. To purchase tickets click here.

IPSF ATHLETE SCHOLARSHIP

With the generous support of SoCal Elite, IPSF has established the IPSF Student Athlete Scholarship. This scholarship award will be awarded to a qualified IUSD high school senior who participated in youth basketball in Irvine and plans to pursue post-secondary education.

Applicants will be selected based on the qualities of leadership, community service and academic excellence. Applications are now available online. Deadline to submit is May 1.

SPRING MUSIC SERIES

Enjoy an evening under the stars with family and friends while supporting the musical talents of Irvine students and schools. IPSF has partnered with Irvine Company Retail Properties to host a month-long music series featuring elementary and middle school orchestra ensembles and singers at four of its neighborhood centers.

The springtime music series will be held on Thursday evenings in April from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. For dates and locations, visit.

IPSF GRANTS IN ACTION - SOUTH LAKE STUDENTS

SPRINT THEIR WAY TO SUCCESS

Since 2014, over 120 South Lake Middle School girls have laced up running shoes and sprinted their way to higher self-confidence through the Heart and Sole program, which was created by counselor Jessica Hebl, a recipient of IPSF's Innovative Counseling Award Program (ICAP) grant.
