Hi Scrap-A-Latte Friends!
Hope everyone has had a great week
!
I know many of you are looking forward to Jen Star's workshops too this weekend. This time she is teaching some different workshops than those she taught here earlier this year ... this time with Viva Décor products. It's sure to be fun.
Speaking of Viva Décor, much has hit the shelves, plus all the cardstock has been replenished this week too. And ALL the mini Distress Inks arrived this week too!
This has been a busy time of year for many of you with school concerts, graduations, moving up ceremonies ... and this weekend, let's not forget to celebrate those special men who are awesome Dads too. Snap those pictures

Fab Friday Art Journal Class: June 24th

Join Angie on Fab Friday (7pm, June 24th) to create a colorful and cheery art journal entry that spans two pages. Why not wind down your week with us to play with tissue paper, Distress Paints and Inks, stamps, stencils, modeling paste and more!
So that class participants enjoy a consistent experience, the only requirement is that everyone uses the small Dyan Reaveley journal. If you don't have one already, you can purchase one at Scrap-A-Latte. The class sample is on display but a sneak peek is provided here. Get Shabby Chic with Two Scrap Happy Sisters
If you like the shabby chic look but need a little kick-start at how to create it on your scrapbook pages, then you won't want to miss the July 31st class with special guest teachers, Kaye and Helen, otherwise known as the Two Scrap Happy Sisters.
 They will guide you through the creation of a gorgeous two-page layout complete with beautiful papers, chipboard, flowers and more! Here's a sneak peek of the layout, but stop by the store to check out the full layout.

Kids Summer Camp @ Scrap-A-Latte!
Looking for a fun way to spark your kids' creativity this summer? Why not sign up for Kids Camp classes in July and August. Each class will involve a different project perfect for kids to have lots of fun making all by themselves. Classes will start at 11 a.m. and general take a couple of hours. Pizza will be included. Kids Camp dates this summer: July 12, July 19, July 26, August 2, August 9 and August 23.

Please note that if your child has special dietary needs, please plan accordingly. You are welcome to bring lunches that can be kept in the refrigerator in Scrap-A-Latte's kitchen.

DIY Wood "Home" Décor

This month you'll create a colorful word "Home" and then in the coming months, you can sign up for a follow-up class ($12 each) to create a special themed piece to replace the "O" in Home. In July, it's Uncle Sam; in August it's a beach ball; in September, it's an apple. Adorable!

Class guidelines ...
- Each weekend - generally Sundays - Scrap-A-Latte will send an email to those registered for classes for the week ahead. These notes will be sent to the email on record with Scrap-A-Latte and will note if you need to bring anything special to class other than your basic toolkit.

- Payment for class is due at the time of registration; Scrap-A-Latte class fees are non-refundable.
- If you cannot make class, please call Renee at 631.482.9190. Cancellations more than 48 hours prior to class will result in a store credit. Cancellations less than 48 hours will receive a class kit and instruction sheet, which will be set aside for pick-up at your convenience.
- Class registration is not automatically rolled over month to month, because understandably, your schedule is dynamic too. So be sure to call or stop in to register for each class you want to take.
- Please always bring your basic tool kit to classes, including inks if you like to ink your pages.

Cropping @ Scrap-A-Latte
Have fun ... create ... and maybe even catch up a bit!
Each month, Scrap-A-Latte hosts weekend crops where you can get your paper crafting fix with friends. The No Frills Crop is a one day event from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. (bagels provided). The Scrap-A-Latte Crop is a two-day event from 8 am to 10 pm Saturday and 8 am to 9 pm Sunday, with bagels and light lunch included.
Upcoming crops:
- June 25 // No Frills // $20
- July 9-10 // 2-Day Latte Crop // $50
- July 30 // No Frills // $20 (Note date change)
- August 6-7 // 2-Day Latte Crop // $50
- August 13 // Can't Go to the Expo Crop (seats first come, first served)
- August 27 // No Frills // $20

For the 2-day Scrap-A-Latte crops, you can register for just one day for $30 if one-day spots are available. Preference will be given to two-day croppers.
Please note that payment is due two weeks prior to the crop. If you need to cancel, 48-hour notice is required in order to receive a store credit. Cancellations less than 48 hours are non-refundable and not eligible for a store credit.
Day cropping available too! You are welcome to come to the store to crop during normal business hours for $5 for the day as long as there is nothing else going on at the store. Please call ahead at 631.482.9190 to check and book some crop time for yourself or with friends.
