GIVING BACK
| | |
As some of you may know, Metro has always been a big supporter of the Wounded Warrior project, and as part of our goal to give back to our communities, we've got a team participating in this year's Tough Mudder! In order to prepare for the big race, three of our team members- Richie, Tricia, and Jim- ran the Rugged Maniac race in Petersburg, VA on May 5th. They all did a great job, and by the end, were exhausted, covered in mud, and excited for September 8th! See some more pics of the team here.

AWARDS
| |

We've had a very exciting month, with some great recognition of our work. We are so proud!
- The picture to the right shows Jim Miller, Business Development Manager, accepting the National Media Award with a few of our clients for our work on an OPSEC (Operations Security) video and multimedia campaign. Jim and Ray Walsh, our President/CEO, spent several days in California to accept the award and attend an OPSEC conference. We are honored to be able to work with such great clients!
- In another exciting surprise this month, the Office of the Attorney General received an award from the National Gang Crime Research Center for "superior service in public education and gang prevention." The award was given in recognition of "The Big Lie," which we completed earlier this year and is currently being distributed online and throughout schools in Virginia.

A DIFFERENT KIND OF SHOOTING

We took a break from shooting (video, that is), editing, and everything else to take a trip to Splat Brothers for some Paintball! It was a great day of running, jumping, and shooting each other-- see some pics here!
