THO SUMMER 2018 RESEARCH PROGRAM FINISHES WITH WEEK IN GAZIANTEP
The THO researchers met with Dr. Mehmet Abdullah Aksoy, Deputy General Secretary of Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality, and with Onder Yalcin, Head of the Municipality’s Migration Office.
From August 5-12 , THO’s Summer 2018 Research Program researchers were in Gaziantep to meet with a wide variety of government agencies, international organizations, universities, and NGOs to better understand Gaziantep’s unique response to the Syrian refugee crisis.

The researchers are returning to D.C. on August 13 for a final round of meetings before THO’s inaugural Summer Research Program in Turkey officially concludes.
