Last week, we released the latest publication in our annual report series examining the most recent year’s developments in U.S.-Turkey relations.

In “ A Review of U.S.-Turkey Relations in 2017 and Prospects for 2018 ,” you’ll learn about how U.S.-Turkey relations evolved throughout 2017, from the major events that dominated headlines to less publicized developments that nonetheless helped make up the constellation of tensions and cooperation that characterized U.S.-Turkey relations last year.

The report concludes with a look at prospects for the bilateral relationship between Washington and Ankara in 2018.

On February 5 , THO held an off-the-record roundtable in Washington, D.C. for think tank experts and academics featuring insights from Dr. Hande Ozsan Bozatli , Honorary President of the Assembly of European Regions, and H. E. Serdar Kilic , Turkish Ambassador to the U.S.
THO hosts panel discussion on U.S.-Turkey relations under NATO
On Wednesday, January 31 , THO hosted a panel discussion titled “ Regional Stability: U.S.-Turkey Strategic Alliance and Cooperation under NATO .”

The discussion featured Gen. (Ret.) James T. Conway (34th Commandant of the U.S. Marine Corps) and Maj. Gen. (Ret.) Ahmet Bertan Nogaylaroglu (former Armed Forces Attache at the Turkish Embassy in Washington, D.C.).
