THO SUMMER RESEARCH PROGRAM CONTINUES WITH WEEK IN ANKARA
THO Summer Research Program Scholars met with representatives of multiple Turkish ministries responding to the refugee crisis.
From July 29 to August 5 , THO’s Summer 2018 Research Program scholars were in Ankara to meet with a wide variety of Turkish government agencies, international organizations, universities, and NGOs to better understand whole-of-society approaches to the refugee crisis in Turkey.
To see what we’re up to each day during the program, follow our updates using the hashtag #THOSummerResearch on our Twitter , Facebook , Instagram , and LinkedIn profiles.

This week, the scholars will be in Ankara, after which they will travel to Gaziantep for the final full week of the program. The scholars will return to Washington, D.C. in mid-August for a final round of discussions with governmental and nongovernmental stakeholders.
