Market Updates
Vendor News
With the sunshine out and the Hawaiian sounds of Haleakala drifting through the air this Saturday you may think it's once again summer at the Hollywood Farmers Market, but the piles of pumpkins, jugs of fresh pressed apple cider, and cauliflower and cabbage the size of your head will set you straight that it's definitely fall.

That's right, ProFarm Orchards will have fresh pressed apple cider made from their special family recipe of three different apple varieties.

As we settle into autumn and turn back to our kitchens, keep in mind all the great locally and sustainable raised proteins available each week at market. Great for the slow cooker, morning griddle or traditional oven roasting, our farmers have your locally and sustainably raised beef, pork, chicken and more ready for you by the cut or partial animal share.

On their new land in Beaver Creek,OR  Naked Acres Farm has started raising lamb, and it's some of the most tender and delicious around. Of course Bend,OR raised yak and bison from Pine Mountain Ranch are a great options, and wonderful for a fall Shepard's Pie or pot of chili.

If you've been wondering when the knife sharpener is due to return, hold on just one more week because Gabriel and Dragonfly Forge will make their next appearance on October 14th.

See you Saturday at the market!
