Did you know that according to Penn State University, 55 square feet of turf grass provides enough oxygen for one person for an entire day. This means that the City of Des Peres parks have enough turf grass to provide oxygen for 37,224 people every day!

FNL Returns November 8!

Middle School students are invited to hang out at The Lodge with your friends on Friday, November 8, 6-9 p.m., for Friday Night Live! Enjoy great activities, Gaga Ball, fitness classes and more. Free pizza is available from 6-7 p.m. while supplies last! A ticket can be purchased for $5 at the door. Participants should remember to bring their swimsuit, towel, tennis shoes and best behavior!

Kindle Class November 16!
Amazon has been producing the Kindle eReader since 2007. If you are wondering exactly what the Kindle eReader is and how it works, this is the class for you. We will take a look at the Kindle 4th generation, Kindle Fire 1st generation and Kindle Paperwhite and the unique features available on these devices. Make Your Own Gingerbread House!

Children and their parent are invited to come to The Lodge and join our favorite chef, Jim Wallace, as we make a holiday gingerbread house on Saturday, November 23, 1-2:30 p.m. Jim will take you step by step through the process of building and decorating your own gingerbread house!
