Group Ex 2012FREE Sunday Funday group ex classes will be offered this Sunday, March 8, beginning at 11 a.m. Classes will be 30 minutes in length and are first come, first served. NEW Drawing Class Starts Soon!
Drawing classAll levels are welcome to learn how to draw realistically! In an encouraging group setting, you will work at your own pace. Some skills taught will be the elements of light and shadow, learning to "measure" with your eyes, drawing landscapes, and how to draw the face and recognizable portraits. What the Heck is Pickleball?!
PickleballPickleball is a fun game that is played on a badminton size court with the net lowered to 34 inches. It's played with a perforated plastic ball and paddles. Paddles are available for rental (ID required). Come out and enjoy the sport that is rapidly progressing in popularity! This is a drop-in program on Tuesdays/Thursdays, 12-3 p.m., with no registration necessary (free for members; regular admission rates apply for non-members).
Try Your Hand at Self-Defense!
Thomas LeThis seminar on March 28 covers simple self-defense principles and techniques for easy memorization and application. Class will be taught by Thomas Le, Martial Arts instructor, however, no Martial Arts background is needed. Class will begin with basic concepts and awareness, followed by a brief warm up. Majority of class time will be focused on the actual practice of techniques. CLICK HERE for more info!

Parking at The Lodge
Parking is at a premium on Saturday mornings with swim lessons, youth basketball and meeting room rentals running simultaneously. We appreciate your understanding--and perhaps extra steps--as all different families and groups converge at the community center to share in positive experiences.
