The new roof installation should be complete this week, weather permitting. Thank you for your understanding during this rather noisy and messy project! Note: the roof is covered by insurance and needed to be replaced due to storm damage and subsequent leaks.
Additional Toddler Mini Kickers Clinic!
Challenger Sports SoccerDue to high demand, we have added another Mini Kickers soccer clinic for 2 and 3-year-olds on Wednesdays at 9 a.m. The Mini Kickers program has been designed for kids to learn basic soccer skills while developing strength, balance, coordination, listening skills and team work. The 6-week clinic begins April 2 and takes place at Des Peres park. Register at www.minikickersoccer.com.
FREE Arbor Day Event April 5!
Arbor DayJoin us for a fabulous, FREE Arbor Day event on Saturday, April 5, 10 a.m.-12 p.m., in The Lodge meeting rooms! The event will include a children's craft area, World Bird Sanctuary, music, attendance prizes, tree planting demonstration, tree care seminars, arborists and horticulturists, free tree seedlings, free food, Smokey Bear and much more! Come celebrate 31 years of Des Peres being a Tree City USA!
Try Our Tennis Round-Up!
tennis juniorThis event is designed to introduce people of all ages to the game of tennis! We will be opening the tennis season with activities to include youth group tennis lessons, adult group tennis lessons and cardio tennis. Tennis racquets and tennis balls will be provided. This is a great way to meet our tennis instructors! Registration deadline is April 4. Call 314-835-6150 to register!
Final Days of Heart Your Park Program!
Macy's Heart ParkWest County Macy's and the National Recreation & Park Association (NRPA) invite you to support Des Peres Park by donating $1 or more at the register in-store by March 31. Macy's will match your donation, dollar for dollar, up to $250,000 in total.
