Free Concert in the Park this Friday!
 The second show of the "Hot Summer Nights, Cool Summer Sounds" concert series features the fun and eclectic sound of Smash Band at Des Peres Park this Friday, July 12, 7-9:30 p.m. Bring the family out to enjoy great music in our beautiful park! Overflow parking is available in the Edward Jones garage on Ballas Road. In the event of inclement weather, call 314-835-6102 after 4 p.m. to check the status of the concert. Boy Scout Troop 313 will have concessions available, but you may bring in your own food and drink as well. Alcohol is permitted; no glass bottles please. Camp Des Peres Fun Continues!
 Calling all campers! Camp Des Peres still has some spots left in the last two sessions! Campers will enjoy a variety of great activities under the supervision of our trained staff. Fee includes transportation, special events, swimming at The Lodge, camp shirt and camp supplies. Two More Weeks of Aqua Camp!
 Join us for summer fun in the pool! Space is still available in the last two sessions of Aqua Adventure Camp. Campers are divided into smaller groups based on their swimming ability on the first day of camp. Our certified swim instructors serve as counselors and lead the campers through aquatic-themed days. Dive-In Movie Coming Soon!
 Bring your family, friends and neighbors to the Outdoor Leisure Pool to enjoy Happy Feet 2 while you float in one of our tubes! Check in begins at 8:30 p.m. on Friday, July 19, at the Outdoor Pool. Outside food and drink are prohibited, but concessions will be available. In case of inclement weather, please call the weather hotline at 314-835-6102 after 3 p.m. the day of the event. This event is free for Lodge members and $5 per non-member. |
Basketball Camp is a Slam Dunk!
 Boys and girls, ages 8-13, are invited to work on all phases of their game during this camp, July 22-26. Participants will take part in drills, games, video analysis and instruction from 12-3 p.m. Campers will receive expert instruction from Coach Crawford, who has over 10 years of experience instructing camps and is the girl's varsity basketball coach at Maplewood-Richmond Heights. Fencing Camp Begins July 29!
 This camp offers an excellent introduction to the Olympic sport of fencing. Often called "physical chess," fencing is a safe and fun activity that hones both the body and the mind. Receive expert training from former National Egyptian Coach, Hossam Hassan. Camp will include stretching, drills, supervised fencing bouts, games and other fun activities. Equipment provided.
