Empire Rye: The Real Rye Revival
|
|
In 2015, six leading New York State distilleries, FLD included, banded together to create a consortium dedicated to establishing a whiskey style for the Empire State. This whiskey was to be as distinctive, precisely crafted and held to as high a standard as any of the illustrious whiskey styles in the world. We're pleased to finally present Empire Rye. Participating craft distilleries across New York State are now branding their Rye with the Empire Rye logo, and we've even released a McKenzie Single Barrel Rye Whiskey to celebrate. You can take part in
Rye Week
by picking up a bottle of our Single Barrel Rye Whiskey in our tasting room, or by attending the
Empire Rye
Launch
this weekend at New York Distilling Co. in Brooklyn, NY.

This super simple, 3-ingredient cocktail is packed with flavor. Enjoy a fresh, crisp taste of fall with this fun and tasty drink!
Ingredients
1.5 oz McKenzie Bourbon Whiskey
3 - 4 dashes molasses bitters
3 oz pumpkin pie soda (
We love Maine Root!
)
Just build your cocktail over ice and give it a stir. Add a cinnamon sugar rim for a touch of something sweet.
