Unimaginable, Unthinkable, Unexplainable

What if we were to attempt the unimaginable, shoot for the unthinkable, and ask God to do among us the unexplainable?

We talked about that on Sunday, and commissioned Volunteers and Pioneers who are willing to do just that.

If, as we commissioned them on Sunday, you sensed the Holy Spirit prompting you to get involved, we’d love to have you. If you would like to be part of the group starting a fresh expression (new form) of church in the recovery community, email Tony Antoine . For the arts community, email JoAnn Bugg . And to be part of the Dinner Church in Butler Terrace, email Joan Whetzel .

And please help us get the word out about the Mosaic service, on Sundays at 5:00, beginning on September 10.

I sure am glad to be…

Your pastor,

Student Ministry Tailgates
We are embarking on TAILGATE season at our local high school games. We start with two straight weeks hitting four of the big games. Yes, you read that right. That's more tailgates than the number of weeks. We have one this Friday at Buckhorn. Then on September 8, we are hitting three different games. Help is needed!

How can you help with tailgates?
If you're a student , invite friends and come. Make this engagement of your church with your school an opportunity to connect friends in a safe environment.

If you're an adult, parent or family , come and enjoy. If you want to help, contact Wayne Westerhouse or Hallie McDavid . If you go to the games and have a group of folks you sit with, invite them to the tailgate.

Ministry Architects Vision Summit Retreat
September 15-16

All Renovation Teams as well as church members who are involved in Preschool Ministry, Children's Ministry, Student Ministry, and Young Adult Ministry are invited to participate in a "Vision Summit" led by Ministry Architects, Chris, Melissa, and Hank. Everyone is strongly encouraged to attend at least two sessions.

Friday, 6:30pm-9:30pm
Saturday, 8:30am-11:30am
Saturday, 12:30pm-3:30pm

The summit will build clarity and consensus through a fun, positive process. We will come out of the process with four documents pertaining to each ministry:
  • Mission Statement
  • Values
  • 3 year goals
  • Organizational Chart

Snacks and drinks are provided at each session. Lunch will be provided for those who do both Saturday sessions and register on Mosaic. Childcare will be provided for those who register on Mosaic.
