Recently we were looking for someone…

Recently we were looking for a worker in the Special Needs Ministry.  So, we looked in the wonderful new database created by our Servant Profile. Recently we wanted to invite individuals to a conversation about Fresh Expressions. So, we looked in the wonderful new database created by our Servant Profile.

In both cases we found people who were ready and willing to serve! You see, to this point, when there was a ministry opportunity in our church we could a) Put something in the Messenger or Worship bulletin alerting people to the need; or b) Invite people we knew and we thought might be interested. While those methods are helpful; it is really helpful if we can invite people to opportunities that would fit their gifts and passions!

Hence…

I’m inviting you once more to fill out our Servant Profile. We want to help you find opportunities for service that are, as my Dad used to say, “right up your alley.” Would you take a moment and click on this link to fill out the Servant Profile? (It won’t take long.) Or you could pick up a hard copy at various places around the building and turn it in.

Thank you so much for your service to the Lord through your church. And thanks for helping us…help you…find places of service that “fit.”

Your Pastor,
Travis
