Caring for aging parents and/or losing a parent is a topic that so many have gone through or are going through. John and Elaine Dickson have firsthand knowledge of both and want to share that with you. A panel of healthcare professionals as well as an attorney will be here to share and answer any questions you may have.
Caring Talks
Our next Caring Talks presentation will be Wednesday, March 22 from 11:00 a.m. until Noon on “10 Ways to Avoid Caregiver Burnout”. Please RSVP to the American Senior Assistance Program, 256-382-0426.
Operation Christmas Child
This year we are once again collecting items each month for Operation Christmas Child. Through these monthly collections, we are able to pack thousands of shoe boxes that will be sent around the world to children in need. Last year we packed a record 6,641 shoe boxes! This month we are collecting bandanas, baseball caps, stocking hats, and gloves. You will find collection bins at each entrance to First Baptist. For a full list of items, click here.
