Boys Basketball
Aquinas Catholic Boys Varsity Basketball team as of Jan. 6th, have a current record of 5-5. They were Runner Ups in the Holiday Tournament, being topped by Douglas County West in a last minute shot in overtime.
Girls Basketball 
Aquinas Catholic Girls Varsity Basketball team  was crowned David City Holiday Tournament Champions on December 30th.
2nd Annual Push Up Challenge

On January 12th Aquinas will host the East Butler, and David City Wrestling Triangular. Students will challenge a firefighter, police officer, and a high school wrestling coach for this annual event!



Faith & Service

SOUL Club Angel Tree 

Aquinas SOUL Club collected gifts to donate to the Genesis House, that assists victims of domestic violence. This year they are assisting 10 women and 17 children.

The Nebraska Chiropractic Physicians Association announced the 2016 Fall NCPA Academic All-State recipients. Aquinas boys cross country: Elijah Frasher; girls cross county: Sinclare Fiala; football, Branden Daro and Brandon Svoboda; play production, Michelle Brezina and Sarah Juranek; softball, Valerie Bohuslavsky and Vanessa Bohuslavsky; volleyball, Elizabeth DeWispelare and Regan Pelan.    The Houses that Aquinas Built
    The Building Trades Course at Aquinas Catholic is well
    established; 17 years and counting. Each year students, under
    the direction of Mr. Mark Masur, build a house. In a recent
    article Mr Masur said,
"Regardless of your final vocation, the skills learned in this program are very useful and could save you thousands of dollars over the course of your lifetime."

Sr. Karen Marie's 6th Grade Science Class was blessed to rent an elephant trunk kit from Morrill Hall Museum.

Advent Concert at St. Mary's

Watching the children of St. Mary's sing about our Savior's Birth helped us all focus on the true meaning of Christmas. The Advent Concert was held on December 19th, the last day of school before the Christmas Vacation.
