We are fortunate at Miller Paint to have one of the largest Wallpaper Salons in the country at our flagship store in Portland. Current wallpaper trends are Geometric Patterns, Grass-cloths and Whimsical Patterns similar to what is shown above.

We sell from over 150 Vendors, from high end lines like Phillip Jefferies, Ralph Lauren and Schumaucher to the beautiful and exciting Thibaut wall-coverings. We sell commercial vinyls from vendors like York, Command-LIBoyd, and MDC. We even dabble in the European market with Cole and Sons, Harlequin, Designer Guild and Zoffany papers. We have papers for the budget minded from companies like Patton and Brewster.

The Grand Avenue store has a wonderful selection of fabrics from JF Fabrics, Thibaut, Anna French, Kravet and Stroheim; these can be used for draperies, upholstery or bedding.

We even sell window blinds at a very competitive price. The brands we sell most frequently are Hunter Douglas, Graber and A&I, and we can usually beat the national chain store prices!

May has arrived and we have a good assortment of events available for anyone looking for some design assistance. And, let's face it, there is nothing like a free 20 minute color consult to kick off spring projects or to plan ahead for the summer!

We kick things off with First Thursday in NW Portland at our Kearney location with Anita Sande of Spectacular-Design from 1pm to 4pm. That following Saturday (the 7th), we have 15 stores participating throughout the Portland Metro Area, Seattle, and Bend. For more info, check out the calendar for location details and times.

Speaking of design - we have a new app that we've been working with that we think is pretty cool! The Fittzy app allows you to not only paint your walls, but design your entire space by placing objects in the room...to scale! That's right! With this app you can figure out if you need that 6 foot couch or just a 4 foot loveseat. You can even use it to figure out window covering dimensions or the square footage of your walls, which certainly comes in handy in figuring out how much paint to buy.

The Fittzy app is currently available for free on the iTunes store and even has Miller Paint colors pre-loaded. Check it out and let us know what you think! We'd even love to see your finished designs on Facebook or Twitter!
