Walk the Boardwalk for Sderot!
Join American Friends of Sderot for an evening walk on the beautiful Long Beach Boardwalk.
The city of Sderot, located in southern Israel and less than 1 mile from the Gaza border, has become one of the most significant national symbols of heroism. Sderot is home to the largest Hesder Yeshiva in Israel which serves over 500 students. Sderot has become the symbol of responding to terror with the light of Torah, Zionist ideals and Jewish solidarity for Jews all over the world.

Annual Tishah B'Av Outdoor Prayer Service at the Isaiah Wall, across the street from the United Nations. First Avenue & 43rd Street, Manhattan.
The prayer service will be led by Rabbi Avi Weiss, and is for the security of Israel and Jewish communities worldwide. The afternoon mincha service includes Torah reading.
Note: the fast begins Saturday night and concludes after sunset on Sunday.
