  • National Day of Prayer event set for May 3
  • On Wednesday, April 25 Brown County Commissioners proclaimed May 3 as the National Day of Prayer for Brown County. Prayer events are scheduled throughout the day. The national theme for this year's observance is "One Nation Under God." David Jeremiah is the national honorary chairman for the event and his prayer for the nation will be included in the evening events. The scripture for the event is from Psalm 33:12 "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord."
