One by One—a Little at a Time!
Our ministries are moving forward, as God is leading us! Our work together is just beginning. —Pastor Jane
On Our Way Wednesdays
Each Wednesday evening at 6:15 PM, we share a meal and brief Bible study with Holy Communion. We are out the door by 7:50 PM, so the Bus Family can catch the 8:00 o'clock bus. On the 2nd Wednesday, we stay for the 9:00 bus so we can worship in the sanctuary with a healing service and Holy Communion.

Please join us for these uplifting times of fellowship and worship.

Who are the Bus Family, anyway? These are an enthusiastic group of people who ride the city bus and have asked for this Bible study and worship since most can't come to church on Sundays because the buses don't run.

Do I have to be a member of the Bus Family to attend? Absolutely not! This is for members of the church and the entire community.

The Blessings Continue! Blessing of Community Garden and All Gardens, Sunday, July 9th, 5:30 PM
Join us for this outdoor service on the East Lawn of the church. We'll visit the garden during the service. Bring pictures of your own garden or plant so we can bless them as well. We'll provide seating, but bring your bag chairs you prefer. Come as you are. All are welcome.

People are talking about us and inviting their friends to activities in our building. Just this week someone told me that hearing that God loves humanity has changed his life. I'm getting all kinds of questions about God and God's love for us. Some are hearing this good news for the first time in their lives!—Pr Jane

What's new in Redevelopment?

  • We will welcome people from the ELCA and Synod, August 4-6, for a site visit. Let's put our best foot forward and show our finest hospitality to these people who are partners in our ministry.
  • On Our Way Wednesdays—Meal, Bible Study, and Communion—is growing rapidly. Last week we had thirty people, a delicious meal, and a lively study with Holy Communion. If you want to meet new people who are excited to be a part of Our Savior's, come join us!
  • Seeing people you don't recognize in and around church is part of redevelopment. When this happens be sure to introduce yourself and welcome the stranger. Many of our guests are unable to come to Sunday services because they don't have transportation. A good conversation starter is to ask what brought them to us and what they like about Our Savior's.

Save the Date!!! Friday evening, July 28th.
