NextGEN Agribusiness Economic Development Strategy Study

On November 10, NWCO held a Next GEN Agribusiness Economic Development Forum at McNicols Center to release their Agribusiness Economic Study. Mayor Hancock and other speakers set the stage for the NWC to move forward and develop Agribusiness opportunities.

National Western Center Campus to Advance Aspirational Regeneration Framework Planning with U.S. Department of Energy and Xcel Energy Grant

The Mayor’s Office of the National Western Center has been accepted into two energy programs that will help advance the aspirational energy regeneration goals recommended by the National Western Center master plan. Through the U.S. Department of Energy’s Zero Energy District Accelerator and Xcel Energy’s Partners in Energy, the National Western Center partners will receive support and assistance with development of action plans that are committed to regeneration efforts on the future campus.

The Citizens Advisory Committee will meet on the LAST Thursday of every month at 5:30 pm at the National Western Complex. Here are the 2017 meeting dates:

National Western Stock Show is now hiring!

Interested in working the National Western Stock Show in January?? We are hiring now for energetic, enthusiastic & dedicated people to join our team!

We have positions in the following areas:

Guest Relations
Parking Services
Building & Grounds (including Equipment Operators)
Ticketing
Tack Haulers & Feed Delivery

Many positions are outdoor & require long shifts in all weather conditions. The NW Complex is an agricultural complex where dusty conditions & animals exist.
