THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK
OFFICE OF
COUNCIL MEMBER LAURIE A. CUMBO
35th District, Brooklyn
Proudly representing the neighborhoods of  Fort Greene, Clinton Hill,
Prospect Heights, Crown Heights, and parts of Bedford-Stuyvesant
Dear Neighbor,

After months of anticipation, the PBNYC Cycle 6 results are in! I am so proud that we were able to nearly double the voter turnout in our second year of participatory budgeting, which represents the number of District 35 residents we galvanized into action. A total of  2,743 votes were received, in comparison to 1,660 votes in 2016. Your ballot helped determine how to spend $1 million within our community. Congratulations on a job well done!

From neighborhood assemblies and agency briefings to hosting polling sites, I want t o thank my facilitators, budget delegates and volunteers for assisting my office throughout this entire process, I also want to thank  our public schools ( P.S. 9, P.S. 241, P.S. 705, P.S. 532 & P.S. 67 and Community Roots Charter); and our public libraries (Grand Army Plaza, Walt Whitman and Clinton Hill) for their collaboration.
Enclosed below are the winning projects:
