Sky Dives into Literacy!
Mr. Drew Madden, former BVP middle school math teacher
turned math and data coordinator, will join Commissioner Deborah Gist this Saturday in Middletown, Rhode Island at 3:00PM on a sky dive to support literacy.
The event will celebrate the conclusion of Gist's
"Dive into a Book!: The Summer Reading Challenge," which
challenged schools across RI to get the highest percentage of
students to complete all of their summer reading goals.
BVP was the only school to achieve its reading goal,
and the rest is history!

Mr. Madden believes so deeply in supporting literacy that he is willing to jump out of a plane!
