Carroll baseball goes to bat for needy kids
Carroll baseball coach Coach Mike Constanzo, his insurance agency and the Carroll Baseball Team provided gifts and toys for 15 children who needed to be adopted through City Team Ministries in Chester.

Nancy Craskey, Director of Development for City Team, came and collected the toys. Coach Costanzo asked her to tell the team about the annual Adopt-A-Family Program. It was amazing to see how many toys these players shopped for and bought to make these children’s' Christmas wishes come true!

“When it’s all said and done, it’s not about what you have or what you’ve accomplished, it’s about lifting people up, who you’ve made better and it’s about giving back,” Coach Costanza said.

Student Assistance Program

The Student Assistance Program (SAP) at Carroll ensures that students experiencing barriers to learning are identified and linked to appropriate supportive services in the school and community.

SAP is a voluntary and non-disciplinary program that can support your child through psycho-educational support groups. Groups such as grief and loss, stress management, dealing with divorce, resiliency skills and anger management, provide students with a safe space to learn and practice coping skills in a confidential setting with peers while also educating them with the tools necessary to thrive despite their challenges. Groups typically run one class period per week for eight to ten weeks.

All groups all facilitated by Marguerite DiMattia, SAP Liaison from Caron Treatment Centers. For more information about Carroll’s Student Assistance Program, please contact Ms. DiMattia mdimattia@jcarroll.org
