Welcome to The Pulse!  Please take a minute to check out what's happening in the life of COTA.
Please join your church in praying for the following requests for the life and mission of the church:
+ Pray for Christians in Iran, a nation that is 98% Muslim and .5% Christian.  Christian persecution, particularly for Muslim converts, has steadily intensified in Iran in recent years, where many Christians suffer from societal ostracism, discrimination, and abuse.

+ Pray for the Women's Tea on December 10, that women who do not know the Lord would attend at the invitation of women from Apostles, and that it would lead to them eventually coming to know Jesus.

+ Pray for our Mission Partner, Beyond Imagination, which is doing front-lines work to assist people who deal with sexual sin and abuse from their past. Pray for healing to occur and for wisdom and courage for those who lead in this ministry, especially Ron Elmore who directs the ministry.

Women in the Word ~ Winter 2017 Study

Women in the Word will be studying Fight Back with Joy by Margaret Feinberg.  Joy can be a weapon to fight life's greatest battles. We will learn how to expand our joy threshold by awakening God's fierce love for us, escape fear and regret by applying biblical truths to our crisis, discover freedom for the past and rise above our circumstances and become more winsome, cheerful and thankful.

He said to his disciples, "Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?" ~ Mark 4:40
Fear.  Most of us don't sit around thinking about what we are fearful of and why.  But what if our fears actually prevent us from experiencing deep, abiding faith?  Join us for this sacred time away as we discover how to think "outside the box" fear creates and begin to live fully by faith.
