PRAY WITHOUT CEASING
Please join your church in praying for the following requests for the life and mission of the church:
+ George Mamoulides went to be with the Lord on Tuesday night. Please pray for Jim and Barb Mamoulides in their loss, and give thanks to God for George's life, lived for God's glory.
+ Pray also for those in need of healing, especially Pat Garrett (cancer treatment), Linda Gibson (flu and respiratory), Delores Alger (hip surgery recovery), Marilee Vana (knee surgery recovery), Jim Jones (healing and strength) and any others in our church.
+ Please also pray for the ministry of our mission partner Raleigh Young Life, that many students across our city would come to believe in and follow Jesus through their work.

Congregants from twelve churches from NC and VA Tidewater are invited to gather to learn more about the topic of Catechesis and Discipleship. Details and registration can be found at the Diocesan website. 2018 Southeast Regional Retreat RETREAT HIGHLIGHTS Thursday and Friday morning: Clergy will gather to discuss current and future church planting efforts. Friday afternoon (1-4 pm): Workshops for lay leaders and church staff Friday evening (6:30 pm): Open Holy Eucharist service {You do not need to register to attend just this service.} Saturday morning (8-noon): Bishops address, Plenary speaker and workshops

One of the early leaders of the reformation of the Anglican Church in the US was Bishop Chuck Murphy. He was instrumental in the movement that birthed this church and we benefited from his leadership for many years. Sadly, Bishop Murphy passed away on Jan 9th of this year.
